STEPWISE PROCEDURE FOR AAI

FOR Admission letter-

Documents Required
  • Application Form
  • The applicant must have achieved a minimum of 60% / 6.0 out of 10 CGPA overall.
    MNADATORY REQUIREMENT
    1. Math's and physics in the High school (10th) and Senior school examination (12th). Or
    2. Diploma in Aviation Maintenance form recognized AME College.
  • CV/ Resume detailing your academic / work history year –by- year with no gaps.
  • Statement of Purpose / Student Profile indicating the reasons for your choice of course to study in Ireland and at AAI.
  • Copies of university / third level award certificates (if applicable) & Provisional certificate must be provided if the award has not yet been issued.
  • Copy of relevant pages of passport.
  • One recent photograph.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • TOEFL / IELTS / PTE score sheet or other internationally recognized English language test score if applicable. An overall IELTS score of 6.0 with not less than 5.5 in any module is acceptable or equivalency in TOEFL or PTE.

VISA APPLICATION GUIDELINES

If you need a visa to study in Ireland you must apply to your local Irish Embassy / Consulate. Students from visa required countries must apply for a study visa for Ireland. Generally the following documentation is required to support a visa application:

  1. Visa Application Form
  2. Valid Passport
  3. Police Clearance Certificate from the Passport Office only.
  4. Education documents from High school and University if applicable.
  5. English proficiency certificate such as TOEFL / IELTS / PTE.
  6. Evidence of finances – you should be able to demonstrate that you (or your sponsor) have sufficient funds to support your living expenses while in Ireland and be able to meet the cost of the programme. The immigration office recommends student to have access to € 10,000 per year for living expenses. Bank statement at least one year old (Fd’s preferable). The student is advised to prepare the Current Bank Certificate along with Bank statement / copy of FD’s .
  7. Proof of Medical Insurance – AAI will provide medical insurance for all students.
  8. Proof of payment of Tuition fee / Initial deposit.
  9. Proof of enrolment on the stated course.
  10. Evidence of previous immigration and travel history, if any.
  11. Evidence of previous work experience, if any.
  12. Proof of Income.

For Visa

  1. Visa application file in Ireland High Commission can be submitted 3 months before commencement of classes.
  2. Duplicate All Visa Documents (First set Original, second set Notary Attested).
  3. After submission of online application you will be instructed to visit this website to pay the relevant visa application fee and service charge and book your appointment at a visa application center to submit the documentation relating to your application and your biometric information.
  4. Your appointment must be within 30 days of the date on which you completed your online visa application form.
  5. You may be required to provide your biometric information as part of the application process for a visa to travel to Ireland. Your biometric information includes a live capture facial image, in other words, a digital photograph and a digital scan of your fingerprints.(For more details log on to the website of the embassy)
  6. Payment of Embassy fee has to be paid online while requesting for your appointment with the Embassy for submission of your visa application. For more details kindly log on to http://www.vfsglobalirelandvisa.com/india//visa_fees_at_glance.html OR
  7. Visa process will take 6-8 weeks.
  8. The Visa approval would be done from the ministry of Embassy of Ireland, New Delhi.
